It started with an idea - one great idea from a 27-year-old stock analyst. Joe Mansueto thought it was unfair that people didn’t have access to the same information as financial professionals. So he hired a few people and set up shop in his apartment - to deliver investment research to everyone. Chintan Mehta joined Morningstar Investment Adviser India in 2015 as a Senior Investment Analyst. Chintan has more than 13 years of professional work experience in areas including investment advisory, offshore fund management, investment research, and portfolio management. Before joining Morningstar, Chintan served in the offshore fund management unit at ICICI Bank i.e. ICICI International Limited, Mauritius. Prior to this, he was an investment research analyst for Axis Bank. He has formerly served in the investment research and advisory team at Aditya Birla Money Mart Ltd where he advised institutional investors. He began his career as an equity dealer. Chintan holds a Master of Commerce from the Mumbai University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. Dhaval Kapadia

Fund Manager, PMS

Dhaval Kapadia is Director, Portfolio Specialist, for Morningstar Investment Adviser India. He is responsible for leading Morningstar’s Managed Portfolios business in India. Dhaval has more than 23 years of experience in areas including fixed income, equity markets and investment advisory. Prior to joining Morningstar in 2014, he spent nearly six years at Axis Bank, leading a team of investment advisors, as part of the Wealth Management & Private Banking businesses. He was responsible for setting up the Investment and Portfolio advisory platform at Axis Bank. He was also involved in advising high net worth clients on asset allocation and investment strategies. Dhaval holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University, an MBA with specialization in Finance, the CFP designation from FPSB India and is a CFA charter-holder.
