PGIM India Asset Management has announced the appointment of Surjitt Singh Arora as Portfolio Manager, in charge of managing Portfolio Management Services – PGIM India Core Equity Portfolio and PGIM India Phoenix Portfolio.

PGIM India Core Equity Portfolio selects companies on the basis of quality parameters like high and sustainable return on capital employed, free cash flow, established track record and proven business models. PGIM India Phoenix Portfolio invests in small and mid-cap companies with high growth prospects; at least 75% of the portfolio is in these companies.

Surjitt Singh Arora has more than 16 years of rich work experience in the Equity Markets including over 4 years in the asset management industry.  In his last stint, Surjitt was Head - PMS and Head - Principal Officer with Tata Asset Management. Prior to that he was with Tata Mutual Fund as Equity Research Analyst.
