Pegasus Growth Fund I is a SEBI-registered Category III AIF that invests in a concentrated portfolio of listed Indian equities. The fund is built around CEGARP — a proprietary valuation framework that prices a business's earnings yield against the prevailing corporate bond rate, adjusted for capital efficiency and growth. Rather than chasing quality at any price, CEGARP sets a dynamic valuation hurdle that shifts with the rate environment, limiting downside risk while capturing full upside from earnings expansion. Stock selection follows a picks-and-shovels approach to India's structural megatrends — identifying the asset-light enabler businesses that benefit from large macro themes before sell-side coverage arrives, and at a fraction of the multiple the obvious thematic names trade at. The fund runs 20-25 high-conviction positions, carries a 10% hurdle rate before carry, and the sponsor commits 1/5th of the fund alongside investors
