worked alongside Pradeep at HeroTalkies, where he headed Marketing and
Partnerships, building out the platform’s content acquisition and distribution
relationships. That experience gave him a close, practical understanding of how
content owners get paid, and where the gaps in financing actually sit.
He co-founded
BetterInvest in 2021 and has served as a Director of BetterInvest Finadvisors
Private Limited since January 2024. Sedhumanikandan has been a driving voice
behind the fund’s risk architecture, emphasising the need for
institutional-grade capital and smarter, collateral-backed risk structures in
content financing, a philosophy that shapes the deal structuring behind BMVF-I
today.
