Mr. Manish Batwara
Fund Manager
Mr. Manish Batwara brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with deep expertise in equity derivatives markets. He currently manages the IIFL Capital Absolute Return Fund (formerly known as the IIFL Derivative Advantage Fund), a Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) focused on Indian derivatives markets. He holds a PGDBM from New Delhi Management Institute, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and holds NISM Fund Manager certifications for PMS (XXI-B) and AIF (XIX-C). Over the course of his career, he has held key strategic roles, including Fund Manager in the equity derivatives segment and Chief Investment Advisor, where he managed Ultra HNI client portfolios across equities and derivatives. He has also served as Fund Manager for the YSL Alternates Alpha Plus Category III Fund, a derivatives-based strategy.
Prior to this, he served as Derivative Desk Head at IIFL
Capital Services Limited (formerly IIFL Securities Limited), where he led the
derivatives desk, managed client investment strategies, and acted as a key
point of contact for all internal and external derivatives-related matters
