Parag Mehta is Founder and Portfolio Manager at Profusion Invest Advisors. He will be responsible for tactical trading and special situations trades. He was previously Investment Director in the Edelweiss Alpha L/S fund, where he led research across key sectors and products; earlier he was part of the Private Equity team of Edelweiss Capital Prior to joining Edelweiss in 2018, Parag was part of the Investments team at Kedaara Capital and was involved in the investments in Au SFB, Aavas Financiers, etc. and spends majority of his time in fundamental research across Financial Services, Technology and Consumer sectors Prior to Kedaara, Parag worked in Investment Banking across Barclays Capital in India and Avendus Capital, advising some of the largest business houses in India and the broader APAC region across a broad range of sectors Parag has invested close to $200mn and has generated a MOIC of close to 5x on realized and unrealized capital Education: Masters degree from University of California, Los Angeles; Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University, where he graduated with distinction, and was awarded a full scholarship
