Kapil Ramamurthy is a distinguished professional with over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services. As a Senior Managing Director at Spark Capital, he has played a foundational role in the firm’s growth and strategic direction. Before joining Spark as a partner, he had stints with HDFC Bank, GE Capital, Guinness Flight and Standard Chartered Bank in India.
He has been associated with Spark since 2002. He has been instrumental in setting up and leads the SpECS Funds Management business for Spark. His natural flair for building lasting relationships and delivering structured solutions has contributed in good measures to create value for the firm and clients alike.
He has brought with him the ability to institutionalize processes and objectively manage the risk-return equation for the firm. His eye for detail and ability to look at issues objectively has helped a lot in Orgnizational development.
