Mr Nishant Bansal

With over 12 years of experience across commodities trading, portfolio management and quantitative research, Nishant Bansal joins Tata Asset Management on the AIF side in August 2023. Prior to joining Tata Asset Management, Nishant has worked with Goldman Sachs in New York across commodities trading and equities quantitative research before moving back to India to grow the commodities trading business at Alpha Alternatives. He has also worked with AlphaGrep as a portfolio manager focusing on commodity markets. Nishant earned his Master's in Financial Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and secured scholarships for his teaching and research contributions to the university. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering at PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh
