Mr Abishek Goel
Managing Director and Head
Mr. Abishek is the Managing Director and Head – Infrastructure Funds at Neo Group and leads the Neo Infrastructure Income Opportunities Fund. He has over twenty one years of experience of which he has spent more than 16 years in Indian infrastructure. He has joined Neo from Global Infrastructure Partners which is one of the world’s largest infrastructure investor having AUM of more than USD100 billion. At GIP he was instrumental in several infrastructure investments in India and specially build-out, management and sale of infrastructure platforms. Prior to that he worked with leading global firms such as Actis which is one of the world’s largest emerging markets investor having AUM of USD24 bn, as well as with HSBC, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and McKinsey.
Abishek holds a Post Graduate qualification in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
