Quant Mutual Fund is set to launch the QSIF Hybrid Long-Short Fund, an interval investment scheme designed to invest in a mix of equity and debt securities. The fund will maintain a minimum allocation of 25% each in equity and debt, while allowing limited short positions—up to 25%—through derivatives to enhance returns and manage risk.
Positioned for investors seeking a balance between capital appreciation and income generation, the strategy aims to deliver stable performance by combining long exposure to traditional assets with selective short derivative positions.
The performance of the fund will be benchmarked against NIFTY 50 HYBRID COMPOSITE DEBT 50:50 INDEX and will be managed by Sandeep Tandon, Lokesh Garg, Ankit Pande, Sameer Kate, and Sanjeev Sharma.
The redemption frequency is every Tuesday and Wednesday of the week. An exit load of 1% will be applicable, if redeemed/switched out on or before completion of 15 days from the date of allotment of units. There will be no exit load payable if units are redeemed / switched-out after 15 days from the date of allotment. The minimum investment amount is Rs 10 lakh and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.
This hybrid SIF will allocate 25-75% in investment in equity and equity-related instruments, 25-75% in investment in debt and money market instruments, and 0-20% in investment in REITs/InVITs.
