Mr Rubin Chheda

Mr. Rubin Chheda is the Managing Director at Neo Asset Management, leading the Special Situation & Core Credit Strategy to build the preferred alternatives platform that delivers superior risk-adjusted yields and address clients evolving income needs. With over two decades of experience in India's financial sector, he specializes in private credit, mid-market private equity, and transaction advisory.
Previously, Rubin was the Managing Director and Co-founder of the True North Private Credit Vertical, part of one of India's oldest and most established private equity firms. Prior to his tenure at True North, he headed the Piramal-CDPQ Structured Credit Opportunities Fund and led the Corporate Lending (non-real estate) vertical at Piramal Capital. At Piramal, he managed approximately 4000 crores in investments across various sectors. He also has international experience with EY and PwC in New York and GE Capital in Chicago.
Rubin holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois and a BCom from Podar College of Commerce. He has completed the CPA (US) and all three levels of the CFA (US).
