22 Oct 2025

NAFA Asset Managers has announced the successful first close of its maiden Open-Ended Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), marking a key milestone in the firm’s journey as a specialized equity-focused asset manager.

The fund seeks to tap into opportunities across listed equities, with a strategic emphasis on mid and small-cap segments, offering investors an avenue to participate in India’s long-term growth story.

Structured for flexibility and investor convenience, the fund is benchmarked to the BSE 500, with a minimum investment of ₹1 crore. It allows fortnightly subscriptions, offering investors greater access and liquidity, and follows a flexible fee structure designed to align the interests of the fund managers with those of the investors.

The fund will be managed by experienced professionals N. Balaji Vaidyanath and K.R. Senthilnathan, both known for their expertise in equity research and portfolio management.

Commenting on the achievement, NAFA Asset Managers expressed gratitude to its investors and partners for their continued trust and support.
