Barclays Private Bank India has announced the appointment of Mr. Surjitt Singh Arora as Portfolio Manager & Head – Equities for its India Portfolio Management Services (PMS) division. With this strategic move, Barclays aims to further strengthen its PMS offerings for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in India.

Mr. Arora, a seasoned investment professional with nearly two decades of experience in equity research and portfolio management, expressed his excitement about the new role. In a personal statement, he said, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Barclays Private Bank as Portfolio Manager & Head – Equities. I am grateful to Hussain Selani for providing me this opportunity to lead the Equities vertical at Barclays India PMS.”

Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Arora was the Portfolio Manager & Principal Officer – PMS at PGIM India PMS, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s PMS strategies.
