Spark Capital Investment Management (SCIM) is the asset management arm of Spark Capital, built on a franchise with over two decades of relationships across corporates, promoters, and institutional investors. Since 2017, SCIM has built a platform spanning public equities, private credit, and private equity, with each strategy drawing on deal flow and market intelligence from Spark Capital's investment banking and wealth management businesses rather than running as standalone strategies. SCIM’s public equities franchise is led by P. Krishnan, MD & CIO – Equity Asset Management, a veteran fund manager with over three decades of investment experience across India and Global Emerging Markets. SCIM is also strategically partnered with Asia Impact, an entity backed by a group of private bankers with deep business relationships across Asia and established roots in Southern Europe. SCIM’s private credit franchise led by Kapil Ramamurthy, Co-Founder & Senior MD for New Business Initiatives, and Saurabh Agrawal, Partner and Co-Fund Manager, sit within its alternative asset management arm; the SpECS Fund series provides bespoke, covenant-backed structured credit to high-quality mid-market Indian businesses. SCIM’s private equity franchise is led by Rajesh K. Parikh, Fund Manager and Managing Partner. This vertical houses a late stage to near IPO fund - The Spark Midas Investment Fund series which invests in late-stage unlisted companies, entering in the window before broad market discovery, when most value creation happens.
